London Update

Hello everyone! Big announcement: I am coming home in a week. I planned on cutting my original time short (from December to November) for the holidays. My grandpa was diagnosed with cancer shortly after I got here, and I decided I didn’t want to miss holidays with my grandparents while they’re still here. But recently I decided to come home even sooner. I’ve so enjoyed London and the city, but have struggled to adapt to living here and being so isolated. A bunch of pretty negative things all happened in a row and I thought it was time to come home. I’m moving back to Austin and will start school again in the spring, switching my focus from social work to acting/writing. Not similar fields at all, but ultimately decided I needed to stop telling myself I couldn’t act and write. Or that it was “impractical”. So while I am sad to leave this wonderful city, I am excited to get home and start a new chapter. Thanks for following along this journey, but know my days of traveling are not behind me. I fully intend to continue traveling globally.
